2008 - For Aker Yards Turku (now STX Europe ASA). Voice Alarm Services performed commissioning of ship wide Public Address/ Voice Evacuation system aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s “Independence of the Seas” in Aker Shipyard in Turku, Finland.  Upon completion of the vessel in April of 2008 she became the largest passenger ship in the world, accommodating more than 3500 guests and more than 1400 crew.

2008 - For HMS Inc. Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system onboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Carnival Destiny” in drydock at Grand Bahamas Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. We maintained a functioning PA system throughout the installation resulting in almost zero downtime of this critical Life Safety system.

Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system onboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Carnival Triumph” in drydock at Grand Bahamas Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. We maintained a functioning PA system throughout the installation resulting in almost zero downtime of this critical Life Safety system.

2009 - For HMS Inc. Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system onboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Carnival Sensation” in drydock at Grand Bahamas Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas . We maintained a functioning PA system throughout the installation resulting in almost zero downtime of this critical Life Safety system.

Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system on board Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Carnival Fascination” in drydock at Grand Bahamas Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas . We maintained a functioning PA system throughout the installation resulting in almost zero downtime of this critical Life Safety system.

2010 – For Kristina Cruises OY.  Voice Alarm Services provided service, commissioning, repair, and consultation of ship wide Public Address system onboard the M/S Kristina Katarina

2010 - For STX Finland Cruise OY.  Voice Alarm Services  performed commissioning of ship wide Public Address/ Voice Evacuation system aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s “Allure of the Seas” NB 1364 in STX Shipyard in Turku, Finland.  Upon completion of the vessel in October of 2010 she will join her sister ship “Oasis of the Seas”  at her new homeport in Fort Lauderdale, FL .

We maintained a functioning PA system throughout the installation resulting in almost zero downtime of this critical Life Safety system.

2011 - For HMS Inc. Voice Alarm Services provided  maintenance and upgrade service  for Carnival Cruise lines'  Carnival Ecstasy. Carnival Paradise, and Carnival Elation

2011 - For HMS Inc.  Voice Alarm Services  provided engineering and project management services for Celebrity Cruise Lines Summit, and Infinity.

2012 - For  HMS Inc. Voice Alarm Services provided engineering and design services for the replacement of the Bosch Praesidep Public Address system on board the P&O Australia Line's M/S Pacific Dawn in drydock in Brisbane, Australia.  A fully functional PA system was maintained throughout the replacement.

2012 - For HMS Inc. and Alandia Engineering.  Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system on board Star Cruises'  M/S Superstar Libra.  The replacement of this system took place during the ship's normal operation sailing out of Penang, Malaysia.  In such a demanding situation as replacing a life-safety system on board a vessel in service;  a detailed installation procedure  had to be first approved by the classification society Det Norske Veritas.  In addition to replacing the Public Address system, all entertainment systems on board the vessel were converted to fail-safe systems, assuring that no matter the situation the PA system has the highest priority .  As Star Cruises utilizes far more recorded messages than live speech in their daily announcements, an elegant solution involving AMX Control of the Public Address system for message management and background music control was implemented.

2012 - For HMS Inc.  Voice Alarm Services designed, engineered,  programmed, managed, and documented installation  of the Bosch Praesideo  Public Address system on board Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Carnival Conquest” in drydock at Grand Bahamas Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas . The system is a hybrid, utilizing the Bosch Praesideo control and call-stations while maintaining the original Philips SQ45 amplifiers.  The outcome of this hybrid is an increase in reliability and flexibility of the control and monitoring aspects of the PA system as well as a substantial increase in "STI" speech intelligibility, while reducing the normal replacement cost of the ship's PA system . As is our normal practice, a fully functional PA system was maintained throughout the installation.
